I love where Alfred is located. Being outside in a rural area is one of my favorite things. I love how much there is to do for a town the size of Alfred and there's always something going on that I can enjoy with my friends.
Probably my glass studio. I had a chance to work with glass during High School, but the scope of this is much larger. Being able to work with my hands and create something out of a raw material as fascinating as glass is incredibly fun and I'm so glad to be taking this class.
My favorite spot on campus is Harder Hall which houses our School of Art and Design. Being in the studios and around other artists is so much fun and there is always somebody doing some new and interesting work. It's a ton of fun to hang out with other students who all love doing and making creative things.
Don't be afraid to try new things! We all have comfort zones, but we need to go outside them sometimes to try new things. If you try new things, you may discover something that you love.
