Remembering that I am only one person and i also require time for just me, doing things for myself. Reading, spending time outside with my dog and singing (offkey) are great options for me to relax from a long day of class and work.
The tree forts in the woods by the Ade parking lot. During the fall when the leaves are full, you can see out onto the campus but are completely covered high up in the trees!
Ethics with Professor Emrys Westacott. It single handedly made the decision for me to change my major and pursue philosophy because I really enjoyed the development of critical thought encouraged by dissecting individually composed ideologies of life.
The diversity. The community of Alfred achieves a remarkable thing with its ability to wrap every individual in a nonconformist blanket of inclusivity not only during their time here but for life! Alfred University and its residents have succeeded in creating a place with a positive atmosphere that manages to connect people in so many aspects.
