Managing my time between the three. I use a huge white board to write down all my things I have to do, plus my schedule for soccer and my class schedule. I also make sure I prioritize and use the free time I have to make progress on my to do list!
The small class sizes. Being able to sit in an engineering class that is pretty hard and have specific one on one instruction is second to none. It's also nice to be able to say hi to professors on the streets in between classes and have them know your name. This makes going to office hours much less intimidating. When they know who you are, what you are good at, and what you need help with; they can tailor review sessions to your needs.
Make sure to get a strong handle on time management. You are going to have a lot of free time during the day that you don't get in high school. If you focus on using this time for school instead of "down time" it makes your evenings less stressful, which is especially nice when you start to get involved on campus and have lots of meetings and events during the evening; you won't need to stress about the work you still have to do!
The Yunevich Athletic Stadium. I grew up on the pitch, and my favorite thing to do is knock a ball around with my friends. The sports on campus also give such a great way to get involved and make new friends!
